"You couldn't have asked for a better night!

Friday October 22, 2010, Bethpage High School sophomores Jesse DiGiorgio and Sal Cracchiolo,along with Bethpage High School graduate Kristen DiGiorgio, met Ms. Rito and Mrs. O'Brien, (AATI-LI President and Plainedge High School  Department chair and teacher) to trek into Manhattan by train and spend a fun-filled evening with plenty of laughter and enjoyment.

After a wonderful dinner with a beautiful view of Lexington Avenue from several stories up, we walked to Hunter College's Kaye Theater to watch the all-Italian version of the play Pinocchio, direct from Italy to New York.  Our smiles and pleasant demeanor helped to get us seats very near center stage.  The night resounded with laughter, a few tears at sad moments during the play and late night delays on the LIRR.  Everything worked out,although having to switch a few trains, we ended up home at last.  The night was not without Ms. Rito taking photos of Jesse, Kristen and Sal at dinner.  At the very end of the evening, in all the commotion, Sal and Jesse posed for a photo with the cast of Pinocchio!   Everyone decided that cultural fun trips like these should be more frequent.  So...we are planning our next adventure!  Con piacere!
